Configure DNS Servers

1. Log in to pfSense.
2. Click on System.
   
3. Select General Setup.
   
4. Under DNS Server Settings, add your DNS server information.
   
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
   

Configure a Static IP on the WAN Interface

1. Log in to pfSense.
2. Click on Interfaces.
   
3. Select WAN.
   
4. Under General Configuration, review the current settings.
   
5. For IPv4 Configuration Type, select Static IPv4.
   
6. In Static IPv4 Configuration, enter the details for your static IP address.
7. Click Add a New Gateway, then fill out the required information for your upstream gateway.
   
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
